If Money Was Not A Factor...

Blogathon Post 6/30

If you could choose one race and money was not a factor, which race, where in the world would you go and run?

I've been asked this quite a few times. There are many races I would love to do. There are so many fantastic places I would love to travel to. But if I have to choose one anywhere it would be the Jungle Ultra in Peru. This is my ultimate dream race.

If I can just travel anywhere with no race in the picture and money not a factor it would be to the Amazon Jungle. Running the ultra there would be the cherry on top.

I would love to run all 4 the ultras in the series but if I could choose one it would be the jungle.

I love nature and being outdoors in nature. I love being close to animals and insects and whatever lives out there. I grew up like that and it is sitting somewhere deep in my blood. I always want to be close to nature.

The pictures speak for themselves. Just awesome!

If money was not a factor, what would your ultimate dream race be?

The Jungle Ultra looks pretty awesome, but my ultimate dream race has always been Badwater.

Does it have to be a real race? I would love to do a triathlon in Mykonos. I mean... would there be any better place in the world to swim, bike, and run? :)

That's a hard one. There are a few I'd like to do but I'm thinking that the one my husband would like me to do of the ones on my list would be The Big Five. We've always wanted to go and do a safari in Africa - to see the animals - and that one would get us over there. And I just might get to see some of those animals out while I was running.

OKay that race doesn't look like MY dream. I would have to research this so I don't know what race I would do. I don't have one big one. I'd rather be given a sum of money and use it to do a few races I want. But I'd probably pick one in Ireland.

While I didn't go running in the jungle when I was in Peru, I did go to the jungle and will be blogging about it soon.
