FIFA Photo Friday

The FIFA Soccer World Cup is here! South Africa played Mexico in the opening match for a 1 – 1 draw. Here’s some photos taken in the last few weeks around South Africa.

Good luck to all your teams. Running Blogland is well represented in the world cup. South Africa, USA, Italy, Mexico, England, Australia, New Zealand...

I'm running the 2nd of 4 races in the winter trail series on Sunday. I'll report back on that next week.

Have a happy running weekend everyone!

I've heard (via tv) that the atmosphere is electric. Must be so exciting to be there!! We'll be up at 4:30 am on Monday watching the Socceroos take on Germany in Durban and we'll be praying for a miracle.
Good luck with your run this weekend. Channel all that FIFA energy and you'll do well.

Great soccer match: South Africa wonder goal cancelled out by Mexico's Rafael Márquez! That macht was more beautiful than France - Uruguay.
Excellent photos. Thanks for sharing Johann.
I hope that we will see South Africa's dream during next macth :)
