A Silly Accident

The running gods are certainly not with me this year. I am finally back to full training after being sick for the I don't know how many times this year and then I cut my foot!

Last night I was throwing away a broken slate of glass from an old photo frame. The one piece slipped and fell into my left foot. I have a nasty and deep cut behind my big toe. This morning I can barely put any weight on the foot. There goes my training yet again :(

At least it's weekend! Have a good one!

Oh no!!! I'm glad you didn't need stitches. I hope you're back to training soon. It is a bummer to be out!

Oh Gees, Johann - you deserve a tropical vacation sipping on margaritas by the beach after this string. Hope you heal quickly and are back on the trails soon (I stopped sideways on a rock and tore a ligament or something and was out for a few days, too. Let's hope it was quick like mine!).

Dang you have had some seriously bad luck recently. I'm so sorry. Hopefully this will be quick to heal at least enough you can run on it some in a few days! Take it easy and enjoy the downtime this weekend.

Ouch! I'm kinda glad, though, that it's on the top of your foot. It should heal a lot better than underneath.

That stinks man! But Steve Prefontaine won a championship one time with a cut and bloody foot ... and you're twice the runner he was! I know you'll be back at it soon.
