Green Wonderland

This past weekend I ran on my favorite trails for the first time since I cut my foot. I ran in a green wonderland!

Nature is so fantastic. We've had good rain and it is now green everywhere.

I saw Black Wildebeest with two calves. Two Zebras were walking with them.

It was a joy to be out there and I knew again why I love trail running so much.

Not long ago this was all sand and dust...

It was a good run and I was happy. Anette did a walk and was waiting for me at the end. All perfect!

Happy running everyone!

I love the contrast between your weekend run and mine!

What beautiful pictures! I know you were so happy to be out on the trails again. :)

I saw Zebra the other day, but other than the odd Tar (don't tell Cape Nature that they are still on the mountain) and baboon I don't get to see anything else...

Beautiful.

I might see a coyote or a roadrunner on my runs. Never a zebra! We live in very different places

This is just mean. Everything here is ice and snow. Can I come visit again!?!

Your runs and photos make me want to visit - especially now with snow on the ground here. :)

I didn't need you to say that it had been raining. I could see it from the very first picture. The difference between these and some of you earlier ones from this year are incredible. Just so green!

Wow! Loved this. Glad you are running well. Love seeing the opposite season. LOVE the zebras. I cannot comprehend just seeing zebras while out running. So cool!

We see green like that in Colorado....um, well, never. So pretty!

I thought about you today when I was running on the trails (bone-dry brown) and a train when by. :) I'll try to send you a pic.

What a wonderful place to run! Great pictures.
Tomorrow I will do a workout through the country too, but not as beautiful as your.

Love the greenery on those trails, and jealous of all your wildlife sightings. Winter is encroaching upon us here, all I ever see are rabbits, the occasional roe deer and, more rarely, a fox. Small fry compared to your wildebeest and zebra! Keep on running....
