Wear Your Reflective Gear!
See the runner in the picture above? Neither do I, but that's what he looked like when he came running from the front this morning. Not only invisible in his all black outfit, but also running with his back to the traffic. I can't believe we still have fools like this out on the road. Wear your reflective gear!!!
Ugh. I've definitely been caught when it got darker more quickly than I anticipated (especially in the fall as the days get shorter), but never in all black! That's just stupid. :(
I've seen a lot of cyclists who could almost be twins to your runner. Idiots that wear all black and don't have a light. And they're on the road with cars!
I've had a similar experience, but with someone running with dogs. Scary when three big dogs appears out of the darkness - fortunately they where friendly :)

Eek! At least you didn't hit him! Great reminder.

That's crazy....I thought most running clothes automatically came with reflective stripes!
All black is much cooler than being seen... :)
Scary! I always wear mine!
I've had people run up on me on a dark morning that I can't see....scares the crap out of you.

A lot of cyclists are as bad.

What about a Black Knight who runs with a black armor in a black night?
Crazy scary! I like to err on the side of caution.
