One reason I love living in Africa so much. Always something unique.
I live in Johannesburg and love this view every morning on my way to work.

Yikes! Thank goodness for that fence! :)
That fence looks too small to be riding next to a lion!!!
Whoa!! That's up close! I might be a tiny bit afraid...but I would probably pedal faster just so I wouldn't be the slowest in line :p
Yikes! beautiful pics.
Wow..fence or not, that would of been terrifying! Great pictures and you live in a beautiful place!
Thanks for sharing. What an amazing place you live in!
Those are some incredible sights!
That's simply incredible!
I have hills and insects, you have mountains and lions! Great pictures, thanks for posting them.
So beautiful! You do live in a spectacular location!
I got chased by a cow once and squealed like a little girl....but a lion? The Delightful Mrs S said "Surely it could jump over that fence!" I don't think I would want to be around to prove that :-)
No doubt that lion would freak me out whether there was a fence there or not. On the other hand, a good photo op for the blog. :-)
I love those pictures. I think of you now when I go by the beaver dam. One day I hope to get a picture of a beaver at it for you.
And I'm the lucky one that you share all of this with! :) Even took me up to see that skyline! You're the best Johann!
As I told you SA is in my wish list. Great pictures and great landscapes.
No. Way! I guarantee I would have needed a clean pair of shorts after that run.
Charging lions and beautiful scenery! I need to plan a vacation to SA. You get to enjoy such amazing & open views every day. Much different than here.
so pretty! i hope to make it to SA one day... sooner rather than later :)
