Last night I was throwing away a broken slate of glass from an old photo frame. The one piece slipped and fell into my left foot. I have a nasty and deep cut behind my big toe. This morning I can barely put any weight on the foot. There goes my training yet again :(
I can feel the pain from here...
ReplyDeleteDon't worry I'll log a couple of KM for you this evening!!!
:( !!!
ReplyDeleteOh no, that sounds horrible. I hope it heals up quickly and doesn't cause you any problems....
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! I'm glad you didn't need stitches. I hope you're back to training soon. It is a bummer to be out!
ReplyDeleteOUCH!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry! You have had a bad run of it lately, that is for sure! Heal quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh Gees, Johann - you deserve a tropical vacation sipping on margaritas by the beach after this string. Hope you heal quickly and are back on the trails soon (I stopped sideways on a rock and tore a ligament or something and was out for a few days, too. Let's hope it was quick like mine!).
ReplyDeleteDang you have had some seriously bad luck recently. I'm so sorry. Hopefully this will be quick to heal at least enough you can run on it some in a few days! Take it easy and enjoy the downtime this weekend.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow Johann! Hope you heal quickly!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sorry about the loss of your friend.
Oh no, how unlucky. You have had a lot of drawbacks recently - I hope it heals up soon.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! Seriously?? This stinks.
ReplyDeleteOuch! I'm kinda glad, though, that it's on the top of your foot. It should heal a lot better than underneath.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, Johann! Hopefully your foot will heal fast!
ReplyDeleteThat stinks man! But Steve Prefontaine won a championship one time with a cut and bloody foot ... and you're twice the runner he was! I know you'll be back at it soon.
ReplyDeleteoooo ow ouch!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope it heals quickly. Sounds painful.
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry. Not the right running year for you!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon.
