Although I haven't run any races recently, I've been training hard and doing some LSD runs every weekend. My lovely wife Anette has been supporting me on her bike and this works really well. No time for me to be lazy!
Good times!
On Thursday registration for the Pikes Peak marathon opens. I really hope I can secure myself a spot. It will be very exciting if we can travel to Colorado in August to run this little mountain!
Happy running everyone!
That's so nice that your wife joins you on her bike. Great way to get outdoors together.

ReplyDeleteThat's so nice that your wife goes cycling while you are running.
No time for you to be lazy? You wouldn't understand the meaning of the word lazy. I'm sure that a lazy week for you would be only three runs or less than 60k total distance. Lazy and Johann could never be in the same sentence together.
ReplyDeleteGood luck today Johann - will be thinking about you around our lunch time, sending good registration vibes!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice that you and your wife do the workouts together!
ReplyDeleteGood luck for the registration and ... the race!
"My lovely wife..." isn't it so AWESOME to say that? It is so great that she rides while you run :) A lot of years ago, my husband used to do that for me and I LOVED it.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping Colorado happens and you get to run up that psycho mountain! Actually, it sounds very appealing :)
How great that you two work out together! Good times :) . Fingers crossed for Pikes Peak!
ReplyDeleteHope you are getting in your altitude training! :)
