Hi Johann, Oh, I love these pictures! You all look so darn cute and very tan!!! When I was a little girl I was tan all of the time too:) We lived outside in the summer! Thanks for sharing!
I love these pictures! I think about posting old pictures sometimes, but I lose motivation between the thought and the scanner. Maybe you'll inspire me.
Ever since I was a kid I loved the name Mozambique. And the last time I fished was when I was a kid. I remember even catching something, small but still. Now I just can't sit still for too long. Loved those pics.
Things are more simple when you are a kid - good stuff Johann! Those are darn good photographs for 1967!! I'm noticing the "barefoot" movement is not all that new...
I can only imagine what it must be like to go to places like Mozambique for vacation!
Looks like a fun trip for you and your siblings. =D Are you the oldest brother or youngest? I liked to fish as a kid too. We live on a good river for it and am looking forward to doing it again as my kids get to a safer age.
You live in Johannesburg? That is fantastic. I visited St.Lucia in 2008 and I absolutely loved it. I spent a weekend in Kosi Bay (are you familiar?) near Mozambique. I adore South Africa. I was actually just talking about making plans to go back.
Very, very cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos...
ReplyDeleteI love that in the second picture you've all lined up according to age/height.
ReplyDeleteI hear you've been suffering floods over in South Africa. My thoughts are with you and your countrymen.
